How AJ6WB’s check-in reaches the net

When AJ6WB sends CQ HOTG from the radio, the packet doesn’t reach the net directly — it hops across the amateur radio network to a digipeater and an iGate, rides APRS-IS worldwide, and any reply retraces the path back down to the radio.
